Unidentified

(DVD)

An incident occurs in a small Texas town. A man, while driving at night home on a back highway, claims to have encountered a UFO...

Two reporters from a national magazine are sent to investigate; their editor wants to publish a story on the controversial subject of UFOs. Brad (Josh Adamson) thinks they're a hoax but Keith (Jonathan Aube) senses that something is out there. What follows is a quest by each man to prove the other wrong. Are UFOs real? A hoax? Is there an explanation?

From Rich Christiano, the director of Time Changer and The Secrets of Jonathan Sperry, and featuring Christian singer Rebecca St. James in a supporting role, Unidentified is a thought provoking film that goes beyond the UFO debate and challenges viewers to consider life's most important question!

Comments from Dirk:

Unidentified is an intriguing movie that opened my eyes to some spiritual understanding that I had never considered before. You need to get this movie just to experience the shocking last ten minutes! I won't ruin it for you, but it is quite a jolt!

Discussion of the Gospel gets quite dramatic and confrontational at points in the movie. One Christian character is quite blunt in his communication of sin and our need for a saviour. His style is not consistent with my personality, but it definately made me consider how I share Christ with others!

The movie is potentially scary at times for young viewers. There is also some discussion of the occult and of the evil strategies of our enemy. Some would say that we should be alert to Satan's wiles and others say that we should be ignorant of evil. We highly recommend this movie to older children and adults and suggest that parents watch the movie before showing it to their children. This way, the parents can prepare their hearts to discuss the movie with their children as well as decide if the movie is appropriate for all family members.
