Wow! I am very excited about the eminent return of Christ after watching this movie! End of the Harvest presents a very convincing argument that the return of Jesus could be any second! Biblical prophecy and fulfillment are presented in a gentle and reverant manner that causes the viewer to have to consider their own relationship with Jesus!
In regards to what ages should watch the movie, there is some discussion in the movie where an aggressive group of atheists seek to discredit a believer's testimony by pointing out the hypocrisy of his sinful life verses the standard that Christ provides for Christians. Unfortunately, the young man has had struggles with alcohol and immorality. These struggles are not shown visually in the movie, but are discussed. With perhaps the hardest verbage being the use of the word prostitute (you may not want to have to explain this word to your children).
Our entire family did watch the movie together and we used it as a springboard to discuss the end days and the return of Christ. Our children were so fascinated about this discussion (which we centered around the fall of Jericho -- send me an email if you want to know more), that they never mentioned those other elements.
We highly recommend this movie for the entire family as well as any Bible study groups that may be discussing the topic of end times and when the world will end. Parents should view the movie first so that they can consider the (mildly) questionable content and to be prepared to lead their family in discussion of the Biblical content when the movie is over.
